Charism of the Congregation

Communicating God’s love and goodness
following the example of their Foundress:
this expresses the charism of the Good
Shepherd Sisters, a Congregation founded in
Quebec City. Guided by the Gospel and the
Church, the sisters remain attentive to the
needs of the world, especially those of
women and children, through social works
and teaching.

Good Shepherd Affiliation

Since their founding, the Good Shepherd Sisters of Quebec have cooperated with lay people living similar Gospel values. That cooperation led to the creation of the Good Shepherd Affiliation. This association is open to persons who are attracted by the values of love, goodness and mercy, who wish to foster their spiritual life, and who want to serve others on behalf of their faith. Joining the Affiliation means first taking part in a pre-affiliate program individually or in a group, then becoming a committed member of a group that shares human and christian qualities. It also means participating in monthly group meetings and occasional renewal days for all members, and especially living the Affiliation spirituality.
